Very good question actually  i think everyone should have to bring a female passenger hehe...regardless off age or size :? (may regret that call) Im sure i could find someone. Come on Daniel, u r better at organising girls than i am e.g Sherrie agnue hehe. Take April...Luke wont mind :? But yeah, i agree girls would be a good bonus and im sure we could all find one or 2 or 4 each. Just tell them they get free sausage sandwiches...chicks love sausage sandwiches hehe :o

All I need now is rego and I'm there.

Spent all weekend with my head under the bonnet and around the car from sun rise to set to get everything done. The I took it to work to day to detail it, so here's hoping.

I'm thinking we should meet at the foreshores, park for a bit then take a 15-20 minute drive to croudace point on lake macquarie, there's a massive bbq area there and it's right on the water :D

The other thing I thought of is COPS. Should I inform the cops or not? Local opinion is strong for YES, the word from local cruise knowledgables is that if you notify the cops and everyone behaves then they're REALLY good... if you don't notify them and they notice us then we could be in a lot of shit. I suppose it depends on how many cars there's going to be... deck, have you got a rough number yet? There's probably 5 or 6 cars from our way if everyone shows up. It's up to you guys but I REALLY don't wanna get defected ;)

Whaddya's reckon?

Well if we want BBQ's our choice is fairly limited, and it'll depend on how many cars show up. There's BBQ's at nobbys, king edward park, croudace bay, warner's bay, etc etc... croudace bay just appears to have the most room.

I'm going to newie this weekend to scout the areas, I'll take some photo's and give ya's more info when I get back.

Im saying anywhere between 10 and 25 cars meeting down this way. Thats if everyone who said the would show up, shows up! I dont think ill really in the mood for a defect so somewhere a bit more quiet would be good. And maybe notifying the cops could be a good idea. That happened on that anzac day cruise and they were really good about it. Even directing traffic. Its up to you guys.

I rang the newie highway patrol local command today and told them that i am considering holding a gathering for a well-behaved car club on a sunday afternoon (that was the only info i gave em), and was wondering what I could do to make sure the police are properly notified and aware of the event.. he tells me that for 20 cars or so there won't be a problem.

They want something in writing so I'm drafting up a letter to fax, if we decide we want to let em know and give em the details then it'll be ready to send straight away. Need to make a decision fairly quick though, say by wednesday. What do ya's think?

Ok I've done a run down the lake and have decided on the Pelican park as the final BBQ location. It's got STACKS of parking and a few BBQ's, so it should be tops. The drive there is pretty good as well :D

Is there anyone from newie (maybe from the lake area) who would be able to get to the BBQ spot half an hour or so before we leave nobbys? I want to make sure we get a BBQ for the afternoon, I think we'll be a bit dirty if we all get there and we have to wait ages for them :P

Fook me I'm itching for this cruise... :D:D:D:D

i'm guessing everyone (including myself) will have bailed by dark, for work the next day or whatever...

That's something I didn't think of - eskies and ice! Cheers jone, and anyone else who thinks to bring one do it, would be good to have a few of em.

There's probably going to be a porsche 944 and a 260Z meeting ya's in sydney too, they're friends of mine and they'll just follow yas up.
