Hey all i've got a set of magna elites on my car at the moment and i have 3 silver 1 gold. Just wondering did any of the magnas come out with them factory gold? Because it looks pretty original. Also does anyone know the colour used on the 90's wrx gold mags? Anyway, Need some guidance on which colour to go and also the best way to paint mags as every time i've done it before its come off. Should i use primer etc?

Cheers

Get them blasted and powder coated, much stronger. Steve Wickes and Sons on 555 South road just done a good job on a motorbike frame for me. It was $140 to get a frame, swingarm and a few other bits blasted and coated so its not heaps expensive either

go the silver and get a nice white rim around the out side or on the inner lip just so it stand out enough

yes there where a very limited set of magnas that came out with the gold rims they looked good at the time

Gunmetal. It's tough, not tacky and it'll disguise all the brake dust!
