Haha yea that's what I was thinking too.
Although though might find a deserted road
To try it out how crazy it'd be.

Be cool to drag someone with launch start
But prob take them out with a side swipe lol

Apparently can adjust the limiter values
With chip. If you wheels spin too much
Was reading up on it a bit :)

I want rally car anti lag ,spit flames when decelerating
Through tunnels scare few ppl bam bam. Think it kills turbos quicker tho.
Sounds tough tho. Love the sound of evos with it
When they rev it up.

Saw an r32 the other day spitting blue flames on deceleration. Was awesome. And when he put his foot down it was one of the loudest f%&king things i've heard on the road. Couldn't hear my radio or my exhaust. Was for sale too, 22K. Absolute beast.

I saw an early rally anti-lag system on a doco a few years ago. Apparently they injected fuel into the combustion chamber on deceleration, and with no spark the fuel travels through to the exhaust manifold and due to it's heat the fuel ignites keeping the turbine spinning in the turbo. I think that's how it worked. Go through a bit more petty and probably kill the turbo quicker.

Yea my mate has a r32 gtr aka Godzilla
I wanna race him in the cord.

He prob got more power but would be a lot
Heavier with all the 4wd stuff.

Got a feeling he'd thrash me though. Lol

R32 gtrs are prob the only skyline I like the
Look of.

Yea been having vibrations in front
End at 100kms. Thought I lost a tyre weight
On the dyno or something.

So took tyres off and took to tyre store to be balanced.
And they said one tyre had a flat spot in it. From sitting in shed to long
No moving. Tried moving them to back but still
Vibing guess the others have flat spots too.
So guess I need new tyres :/ which sucks cos
They got so much tread on them.

Also can smell petrol. Think I got a small leak near
The check valve that installed. Sigh

I'm in the same boat...........but my tyres are 15 years old now..........no good, over shelf life.

Yea these tyres are prob few years old now ( we're off the blue cordia)
Too. But rubber still looks ok no cracks etc. shame
Cos they got so much tread
Left :(

I thought I heard a weird sound on the dyno
When got it tuned. Guy reckon was just a rock in the tyre
Wish it was haha.

Oh well if get new tyres I do what they suggested
Leave it sitting on stockies if going to be stored for awhile
So stuffs the stockies and not the good tyres.

Can the flat spots fudge up ur drive train etc after a while?
Don't think I can justify new tyres for the amount I drive it.

Today mocked up intercooler spray out
Of car. Was surprised had a fairly decent
Misty spray pattern. Went from 10mm to 6mm Reducer
Image

then 4 mm then 3mm t piece into the jets.
Image

The headlight washer bottle that was in
Red cordia was no good was leaking water from
The motor it self(right)
So pulled the one out of the blue cordia (left)
Had quite a larger motor already on it.
Image
Was a bit rusty so few weekends ago of course
I got the rattle cans out and did some painting.

Had to Rtv silicon around the motor rubber seal though
After I disturbed the motor when painted it.
Image
So now I know works ok. Will plumb it in
In the next few weeks hopefully. With the pressure switch.
I think I'll still install it to only work when headlights are on tho.
So can turn it off if bottle runs out. So don't
Stuff the motor if there's no water in The bottle.

You can put a low level liquid gauge in the bottle...........I did this for the washer bottle to run on the digital dash.......have fitted it to the car.........can pull out and take some pics if you want?

You can wire to the cordia cluster as it has provision for low level liquid.

Works a treat!

Post subject:  Re: Let the Moding Begin

Oh ok cool thanks for info once again :)

There are 2 extra wires on the headlight washers
The thick blue ones go to washer motor
And 2 skinnier wires on the same connector.
Are they for the headlight wipers or something?

Gotta sort out 5 th gear guess ill have to remove
Intake manifold and tap a barb in it for it.
As running a N/A intake prob put some extra barbs in too
As running bov, boost gauge etc of t piece and will be running
Pressure switch soon for the intercooler spray.
Having only 4 gears is annoying. Also do you have
Install that vaccum canister that's on the original
4g62 set up

Don't worry bought pics for now. I don't get
Much time to work on car much these days.
But yeah if I get stuck will let you know. Thanks

whacked the water jets in near intercooler,
took for a drive yesterday. haven't installed pressure switch yet
was just still running from the headlight washer switch.
wasn't expecting it to do a real lot. but def makes a difference :) fun n games :P

Anyone have circuits of the headlight washer
Circuit. Getting weird readings the thick
Blue and white wire seems to meter to ground.
Was hoping they were just switching ground. But doesn't seem like it.

I'll have a look, but don't forget they are run off of a relay under the dash on the driver's side footwell.

Author:  metalcoremarc [ 20 Dec 2015, 23:00 ]
Post subject:  Re: Let the Moding Begin

Thought could hear the relay inside the car
When was testing. The motor measures a short pretty much. Maybe that's
Why I'm measuring 12v on both wires. Although one seems to meter to ground.
Maybe easier to put my own relay in and rewire it too pressure switch.

Post subject:  Re: Let the Moding Begin

That would be a sensible option.........that way you won't have to press the button on the indicator stalk.

Author:  metalcoremarc [ 21 Dec 2015, 21:59 ]
Post subject:  Re: Let the Moding Begin

Yeah was a bit tricky to do when torque steering
Hahaha.

Yeah was hoping they were just switching
Ground on the indicator stalk, so could install
Pressure switch in place of the indicator button.
But seems a bit more difficult than that. From
Measurements with multimeter.

Plus the pressure switch us only rated at 5A
And the motor meters a short pretty much
So gonna draw over 10A. So will prob burn out switch.

So guess have to try the other way.

Went to take car for drive today.
And found front drivers side tyre was flat
10psi. Lucky checked pressures before driving.
Can't see any punctures and pumped it up too 37psi
Noon today and still holding pressure. maybe slow leak?
Dunno if I trust it especially being on the front off car.

Which was a pain needed it today as careless because doing rear
Disc conversion on my everyday Toyota. And ran into trouble with that too.

Haha I have the best luck

Post subject:  Re: Let the Moding Begin

Yep, have the same trouble with my tyres...........it's the valves in the wheels, they dry out and leak!!!!!

Push the valve to the side and here the sweet air pressure..............shouldn't do this under normal conditions.
