Hi Guys.

I'm coming down from Newcastle on the 17th to do some racing. Hopefully improve on my last time (14.4 @ 99 ) , since i've just fixed a few things. Be good if some other members came and had a go or even came to watch. Check link below for any info.

Just thought i'd add there is prize is prize money up for grabs too, for lowest reaction time. That might be a little incentive to come along.

Well it was a great night to get some runs in. I had 4 runs in between 6 and 7.30. usually get 4 runs in between 6 and 10. there was hardlyanyone there compared to normal. watching the fight i guess.

I had a ordinary time. only managed a 15.1. Other cordia driver managed a 14.4 and on the way stuffed something. Smoke all over the place.

Was fun anyway but.

Nice starion there too. Orange pearly colour and it had a VG30 turbo from a old 300zx, i think there from. very nice.

Brad

What a co-incedence. Thats what i have. A stock vr4 motor.

I have done 14.4 @ 99mph. I know thats not overly quick either , but thats what its done.

Car looked good down at the track Brad. That orange starion also looked very nice. :)

Livewire let me know how the tune goes champ if your still heading to Vince at V&E.

Hopefully I can get down on the track asap and have some fun :)

Im booked in for Thursday coming at V&E Rigoli Jay. Brad is coming down with me so we'll be down pretty much all day (if we can find the place :? lol). Feel free to drop in. Hopefully im gonna pull some decent power and Vince can do a good tune cause im not sure what he's like but seems to know EMS inside out. cause i have a feeling the cars got alot more in it than its got now so dont wanna be wasting its potential on a shit tune etc. (not to mention what its gonna cost :? )

no offence to anyone rigoli associated on here, but my mate has dealt with him before and wasnt impressed at all. Got messed around for weeks and weeks and ended up taking his car elsewhere! Rigoli's loss of 250rwkw engine i guess. Livewire, have you dealt with him before?

No... havent dealt with him before but my car has an EMS computer and Vince is an EMS distributer that was recommended to me bye the peopel at EMS themselves as he knows these computers inside out. A couple of guys on here and a guy i met who owns a Subaru forrester with an STI motor in it running 250KW at all 4 wheels recommened them too. Its only for a tune (no physical labour or parts) so if he knows these computers then there shouldnt be a problem.

But you got me kinda worried now :? cause theres alot of moneys worth to risk and i wanna get the full potential out of the car safely

sorry didnt mean to put you off. Just alot of yeh i'll get back to you, and not doing what was actually asked of him. But he does have a reputation for good tuning and high kw's, im sure you'll be fine. Just wouldnt recommend anything that involves lots of labour and leaving car down there for extended periods. Look forward to seeing how your figures turn out!Goodluck!

Hey Kev. How about we take a fold up chair each and sit and watch the car for the day so you can keep an eye on your baby. (I'm not joking). Least you can see what happens with it

Sounds good Brad.

I'll bring my bar fridge, a couple of 7oz glasses, some coke(coca-cola), a bottle of canadian club and some snacks so we can sit back and take in the burning fuel lol. But yeah... i wouldnt mind seeing how it goes for a while and keep an eye on the changes etc. But not all day unless he actually does it pretty quickly cause he seems to know his shit. But im pretty sure it needs to be totally re-mapped cause it rev limits at around 5000rpm, it starts hunting when you rev up around 4000rpm which is obviously a tuning issue and theres the cam to play with etc. Just hope everything goes well and safely so we can get home!.... if it does go well we might get home quicker than we got there
