This plan is ghey, I've recieved soooooo many emails about this crap, Im gonna block the next person who sends it to me.
As Age already said, people need petrol, you wont get 100% of the population to not buy petrol which is besides the point anyway as you will get everyone filling up on the day before or the day after hence buying the same amount of petrol anyway. Petrol is expensive for a reason, and its not because of its popularity. Its because its running out (see thread in general), its because of Katrina, Iraq, Saudi under pressure from Iraq/Iran/Taliban etc to not do the US any favours, the tax on a tax here in Aus along with us under contract to buy from overseas even though we are extracting our own.
On another note: Just something I thought of, why is it that motor oil stays the smae price, HPR30 has been floating around $35/5L for years, it never moves unless its on sale or something.
Also, ever notice how as soon as there is a price rise of oil (eg Katrina) within 2 days the fuel price goes up yet when the price goes down it can take up to 2 weeks for the cheap stuff to hit petrol stations...
