As the topic says

Watty has booked a session with a go karting place.

Details so far
Date : 20th of August
Where : Dont know as yet will get back to everyone
Time : 2pm the session is booked for
Cost : $65

Right the price includes 3 x 10 min sessions and prizes to win, plus free bbq or food not sure yet. Need to have min of 8 ppl

Ill definately be there, if we get some decent weather can we go to Ace Karts in Sunshine, its an outdor track, I went there about 2 months ago and it was sick. But I'd imagine that in the wet it would be pretty crap, drifting aside but you can do that in the dry anyway cos they are as powerful as Roger's Cordia.
Alternatively AusKarts in Port Melb is probably the best indoor track around.

Oh fvck, I thought these guys closed down! They used to be in South Morang, I went there once when I was about 13, and these two strokers are fvcking rockets! If nothing has changed they actually have to use a mobile electric crank to start them, like they do for F1s.

this place is now out on hume hwy/sydney road, the place looks sweet, was talking to a guy there and he said the karts are the exact same spec as the race ones......

They look like KT100J's, crap pic though so can't really tell. I'd guess they are though, the J's are bulletproof and take a thrashing. They're ~9hp, good for 90-100kph on a good straight.

Nice track. Wish I could come down but have ice hockey national game on the 20th... :(
