Alrighty, this poll is ONLY to see where people stand on this topic. I don't wanna start the debate on why to have one or not. Unless you have a link to a proper source on why to have one or not, i don't wanna hear it. I don't care if your brother's-girlfriend's-father know a guy who works for Greddy says bov's are good, so you should get one too. That is their own opinion.

what if I want a plumback for the sound of one of those? I think your poll should list those. I prefer their sound. Actually, go watch High Octane Overboost, there's a skyrine at the track day that got a BOV that sound like frigging swords clashing, it's just awesome.

I much prefer the sound of my intercooler making "flutter" than the sound of a BOV. So no BOV for me, ill have wank factor flutter thanks

Yeah thats what i Thought, but onn fullboost my flutter gets way to excessive, even though im only on 12 psi

It ends up allmost popping whilst changing gears on Fullsong....

All this Blowback air cannot be good for the compressor...Thats why I plan on buying one after my rebuild!

i wouldn't mind havin one for the wank, but i don't have the money to shell out for one, plus i only run stock boost.

i haven't seen the electronic bov's yet, but i did find these on ebay. tailus could get one of them for his bike! that could be pretty sweet.

Best post ever. Who cares what other people think about your car, do what makes you happy and dont try to force your opinion on anyone else, good job, vote 1 for moderator!

I am considdering putting my mates Saab plum back on mine, only to stop my cooler pipes flying apart, I think that excludes me from being a wanker.

If you want to stop your cooler pipes from flying apart, you just need to weld a bead around the ends where the rubber joiners bolt on.
