who does this git think he is, the cordia forums are a place for people to share like-minded veiws and opinions about cars, life, girls, sex, and pretty much anything else, sure it needs to be moderated to stop legitimate nuisances like spam, or indecent solicitation but surely not to the extent that this self confessed "forum nazi" first class knob head deems nescesarry.

For example I was repromanded for not putting a "location" in my thread title for my magazines ( maybe a better idea would be for people to actually fill in their location in their profile like I HAVE especially if they intendon advertising stuff for sale) and was also threatened with being banned from the forums for doing so,! come on mate get of your high horse before you get knocked off.!!

I suggest that Tailus pulls his head in and starts acting like a moderator instead of the net geek on a power trip he is now or he himslef should face expulsion from the forums never to return, ( i hear he doesnt actually own a cordia anymore anyway. but then again neither do I and neither does AAGSR so whats going on on this forum!!!

the crux of the matter is that Tailus acts like a wanker and needs to be told!

So consider yourself told you giant knob head.

Semireal,
You were warned about posting an ad without your location, and fairly so when it's in the guidelines and there's a great big sticky sitting under them reminding everyone to read them. The location in the title rule is there for the readers, it's there so people can look for things that are for sale near them without having to open every single thread. It's not just there so I have an excuse to ban people and delete posts.

Learn to handle being told you've broken the rules, without calling names and having a flame about it.

I'm going to leave the thread open just to see what people think as long as it doesn't turn into a flame war.

i'ma voting leave alone... people have off days, and peopel like to criticise him... with the change of rules, he may be harsh, but they were changed, and as much notice was given as possible-he fukin made the headings caps FFS... so yea... it aint like it's unreasonable when he threatens to delete threads... (although, on some of them, they were existing and were threatened deletion.. they werent deleted thou...) Basically, he still does his job, AND you cant please everyone, so yea... leave the guy alone :P

I prefer oxygen to tailus any day, but being honest here I'll say this, you have changed for worst in my opinion and my opinion only, and in my opinion, what you really need is a girlfriend to take up all this free time you spend on the forum

Just me view, but take notice if your mates start to say the same thing

If you get offended/feel unsettled by what I've just said, then it means its the truth and you should seriously think about what's happening and if it's what you want.

Anyhow, take it easy, relax and don't stress too much, we're supposed to be the 'laid back' country you know.

Cheers

Luis

Mind the comments a109. Seriously guys, we can either have a sensible discussion on this, or I'm going to lock the thread.

I'm only saying that as a REAL FRIEND because anyone who claims to be your friend and hasn't said the same thing, are only friends with you for other reasons apart from friendship, because you have changed and everyone would have noticed so there is no excuse for them not asking you 'whats up, how are ya ? etc'

Anyhow, I'm not saying anymore, sometimes the best way to learn is through experience

 @ this thread

i think he's a fine moderator, if a little too harsh some times. but hey that's what the mods job is all about anyways. i think he should stay as he keeps this place in line. but i'm voting for removal, just for the sake of it.... :P

I dont think that Tailus needs to be removed as moderator.

Even though I almost never agree with him on anything, he
does a service that most of us would be too lazy to do. :)

But I am surprised with the rule about showing the location in
the thread title. Is it new? I have been here for a while and
it is new to me. Perhaps the rules need to be changed.

Also people being told off for not searching a subject they want
to know about, if you dont revisit subjects, you wont learn
anything new.

i dont see any big deal at all with the no location in thread title, it doesnt really matter, if somone want something bad enough, it doesnt matter where it is located, they will pay to have it shipped to them, so i say piss off that location in thread rule for example, if i see " FS: Exhaust Manifold" that has no location right? but if i think to myslef "fudge, i need an exhaust manifold" ill open the thread and have a read, and if he is in QLD and im in SA if i want it ill pay to get it posted....

Tailus is a major nazi most of the time, but he does do his job (a bit too harshly), he does do some stuff that i think doesnt need doing, can handle things badly and have little patience at the best of times. i dont think he should be banned or anything, just keep in mind that we are all here cos we love Cordias, your not better than any of us, we all have something in common, and we are so far all nice people, so lets just keep it that way....NICE

Plus whats with 2 mods not even owning a cordia?!? they are good mods and they do their jobs but why are they moderating a cordia forum if they dont own cordias? AAGSR + Tailus

EVERYONE JUST NEEDS TO "RELAX, TAKE IT SLOW AND LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL" good ol' stiffler

I don't have the patience to deal with everything that comes up in a patient an courteous manner because it takes a lot of time to deal with all rubbish that ends up on these boards even as it is. The whinging from members about being so harsh is the tradeoff.
Frankly, I'm pretty well sick of it, who wants my job?
