Post subject:  turbo white lightening my new toy
this is my new toy, i know its a bit of a down grade from a cordia but, but getting hard to find these things these days.
good thing is that it is a lot more simple to play with being carby,

its no, 69 of 150 made
50km's on engine from rebuild
new turbo stock ,
full 2.75 man bent exhaust.
n goes like a little rocket.
would like 2 put it up against a stock cordia when the engine is run in just to see what the difference is

getting a td04 and top mount soon

A Laser turbo!! Haven't seen one of these in ages!!

My mate recently sold a Mazda Familia BFMR which I'm pretty sure share the same motors (I think there are very minor changes between the two) as they are pretty much the same car.

They go hard :), best of luck with the car man.

An engine shot and a front shot would be nice if you get the chance.

P.S. My mates BFMR used to rip up my other mates Lancer GSR, just left him in the dust because it's so lightweight and boosty. Then again his was a 4WD. Used to love that car.

so more picks of this little pocket rocket.

what kinda turbo do you think i should be running on this little thing
its only a 1.5l so i figured a td04 should work nice with a top mount.

may be quad throttle body's and piss off the old carby as well

it came out with 86kw,s stock on bit over 4psi

I see the bonnet opens the same way as the Cordia :).

The motor that was in my mates was a 1.6 EFI Turbo so slightly different but bet your one still goes hard.

A TD04 turbo would be a good size, or even a CT9 from a Toyota Starlet.

I reckon you'd benefit more from a small front-mount intercooler than you would from a top-mount though, a Familia GTR intercooler would fit nicely.

nice! mate of mine has a red KB turbo laser it keeps eating pistons tho...too much boost i guess :p
