hey guys,

i was just recently looking at putting a kaaz lsd in my car, but decided it was a bit pricey.. i'm just interested to know what other people have done? or has anyone blown a gearbox??

they asre pretty tuff little boxes... there is the odd failure yes.. but given what people do to em in the way of sticking vr4 engines etc on em with big fat tyres they hold up really well....

Hey mate, I Had an lsd center in my cordia..Took the box out because it had a stuffed selector shaft on the high/low gearing. I now have a standard box in the car but will put this lsd back in at a later stage as I didn't have time to do it when the box was out, will dismantle it soon and take some pics
On the topic about cordia gearbox strengths At the moment the car is running about 215kw @ the fronts, I took it to the portland drag's the other day(one of the grippiest strips in oz).. and gave it AN ABSOLUTE flogging and the stock box didn't even think about breaking. I had it axle bouncing really good a few time's

For the size of the box's they are very fkn tough and if your not running big big power you'd be unlucky to blow one up.

aye... ive heard good reports on all mitsi boxes... mazda on the other hand.... *yuck*
