Crap acting and the story line was a bit ordinary but the drifting scenes were mad!

Whats wrong with 2 fast 2 furious, it was better than the first one. And possibly better than tokeo drift.

i just like the cars.... 1st was was ridiculous in it's attempts for techincal information. "brooo... you fried ur rings. now we need to pull apart the block... blah blah blah..." fried the rings? running nos and boost, and the only thing harmed was the rings. as an example off top of head :)

now... i'm thinkin i'll see this too, cause aye, it looks cool :P

it was very average, but i didn't have very high expectations to begin with!

the story and the acting were very average and it's hard to like the "good guy" when he is blatantly putting his own and other people's lives in danger. It seems worse in this respect to the previous movies due to the close proximity of people and cars going sideways...

The sport of drifting, and also the "street" scene in japan is totally unrealistic, though the movie in general will probably be beneficial to the sport in australia due to more mainstream exposure.

The drifting in the movie is very good, as to be expected with D1 drivers doing the stunts, however there were points (particularly in the mountain run at the end), where it did seem amaeturish (cars tended to straighten up between corners, whilst it is better to smoothly link them)

Overall, it was ok, the action makes up for the crapping acting and lack of story!

They spoilt the movie by trying to add a plot. :D

Also they wern't characters they were just base outlines. ie: the good guy who can never do any bad. The hero who has issues but turns out to have no real issues. The bad guy who can do no good. etc...

Also what was with everything being settled by a race? I'm about to shoot you, hey lets race for it. You eye-balling my woman? ill race you for her. hehee

But i still enjoyed it and thats why they keep making them. Plus they did research, although the SR20(was it an sr? it looked like a RB but it came out of an s15? im confused there) in a mustang was funny.

P.S the 1st is better than the 2nd because you can laugh at it more and has more quotable quotes

Cheers,
Nick

that s15 had an rb26 in it... it's been done before, though you don't see it done much in drift cars. S15's have a perfect weight balance/chassis for drift, but the extra weight of the rb26 screws it up.

Tim, obviously the movie creators were smarter than you when they swapped it as they considered the extra weight of the stereo system in the back and hence the S15 still has a 50/50 weight distribution

I personally thought it was gay.
Why on earth would you put an RB25 in a Mustang?

Also why is he drifing in an EVO doing rear wheel burnouts?
How can that Asian dude get his 200sx with an RB25 in it totalled and not even give a shit bout it.

Also with all their stupid actions there would be harsh Consequences
like the cops chasing them after that dude died.

Why would his Dad just say yeah chuck an RB25 in my Mustang and drift it through the mountain tops because you have to set things strait.

And i hated that scene where there are all those cars drifting through the Mountains and the chick is driving one like she's going to the shops for Milk.

But all in all the scenes that looked real and could be plausible were pretty good.
