while driving down the road my left rear wheel bearing seized and locked the wheel. Gave me no warning just seized. Has this happened to anyone else? I've never had this happen on any other car. Suprised the hell out of me.

It might have made noise but I had my stereo turned up. I didn't hear anything. I know it was the outer wheel bearing because i did surgery on it on the side of the road. When i took the nut off and moved the washer back the bearing fell out in a lot of pieces. I'm glad i was only doing about 45mph.
