Hey all, im swapping out the 1.8 for the 2.0 dash 12v in my AB gsr seems fairly straight forward but knowing cordias there must be some tricks to it anyone know of some thing to be aware of?

You will need to run the 1.8 injection system on that engine, unless you have the ECU and working injectors...........if you use the 1.8 cordia injection the engine will run extremely hot under power as air/fuel ratios will be lean, if it were me I would look for a second hand VR4 engine with loom (maybe already out of a cordia) and use that.................more bang for buck!

No, the engine is still centre point, the dash runs a small injector and a staged large injector, best to use the cordia injection.

You can't re-map the cordia ECU, best bet is an aftermarket ECU.
