Hey all, the cordia I just purcahsed has a completely stuffed ignition barrell (passenger door lock is stuffed aswell). I was going to get the ignition barrel and all locks from the cordia thats sitting at the lonsdale upullit as the barrel and all door looks looked to be in sweet condition. Problem is i could not see the keys anywhere in or around the car. Asked the guys at the front counter and they said if the keys arn't there someone may have already taken them or there may not have been any keys to begin with.

Anyway my question is it possible to get a locksmith to make a key to suit the ignition barrel? Or am I talking fantasy?

Nope, have done this plenty of times, Salisbury locksmiths will change your barrels to suit your key. :)

Cool that makes things easier. Now i just gota find the time to drive all the way down lonsdale and hope the cordia is still there with the barrel and locks intact.

If you can't get to Lonsdale, visit Elizabeth U-Pull-it and grab a barrel out of a TM - TP magna (they have plenty) and a door lock out of the "black" RC Colt that's there.

So the tm-tp barrel's are interchangable with a cordia then?

SO if i end up getting them from the elizabeth upullit i will end up with three different barrels. Magna ignition barrel, passenger lock from a colt, and original drivers door barrel. But your saying salisbury locksmiths can change the barrels to suit my original key that is currtenly only good for the drivers door?

Correct, all the parts are interchangeable with the cordia.
