hey just wondering will my stock 5 speed cordia box hold upto a 250kw 4g63t or do I need to get it built? I was thinking auto but can I even get an auto for a cordia lol

I know a number of people running stock box's with the 4g63t engines.

Allot of it depends on how you treat it, you can drive fast and hard while still shifting correctly, and then you can just abuse the box.

I think the clutch is the weak spot over the gearbox to begin with TBH.

You've got a few kw's on me so don't worry. The torque steer will shoot you into oncoming traffic well before your box complains. Unless your going drag racing...then i can't help you. Good luck!

Since you run an LSD the gearbox will definitely see more stress. I would just leave it in there until it becomes a problem. They are cheap anyways so it doesn't really matter if one let's go here and there.

I wouldn't go auto, it ruins the car. Have you ever driven something like a S1 Nissan Stagea? The auto ruins what is otherwise a very capable sports car.
