Im trying to get that suction sound when accelerating i think its called compressor surge or something like that. ehat are some easy ways or easy modifications? Cheers guys |

The lack of suction/induction sound is going to be from the fact that you're running a standard intake. As for the compressor surge, are you really that desperate to wear our your turbo? |

Oh so what if i run a metal.intake pipe..? Or even a CAI with a pod attatched to the end? I want a pod on so.badly i jist want the suction sound as for the compressor surge i dont think im talking about the right thing i though this was another word for.that suctiom.sound u hear cos of the pod |

The sound you'll hear from the POD filter is generally referred to as induction noise. If you run a POD filter in the engine bay it needs to be enclosed in an airbox of some description unless you want to be defected. If you run a CAI with a POD down into the guard/bumper you will get more induction noise as there will be more pipe to amplify the sound. Either way you will still need to run the AFM. As this moves into line with your other thread I suggest any further discussion be contained there as 2 threads become hard to follow. |
