I have just finished running this with Grant's white AB.........run like shit....idled at 200rpm. Removed cross over pipe, disconnected the AFM and turned it over.......petrol was virtually pouring out of the intake onto the rocker cover..........cleared the engine, replaced the injectors vola........runs sweet. :)

So that is incorrect?

Fit both the grey tops, but firstly check your ECU is an unleaded version (MD109992 or this sticker on the side 9992) and your airflow meter has one bypass hole.

Alot of unleaded cordias I have seen are mucked with, guys try to turn them back into leaded models just for the extra power.

Checked the ECU number and it is (MD103657) this is a leaded one is it?
Where are the AFM bypass holes located?

You have an AB (leaded) ECU in your car...........I would check it has an AB airflow meter and put black top injectors in it.......that way everything should work fine..........unless your running a TC05.

Was the serial number as I stated earlier in the post?
Sounds like you have another "leaded" ECU.

but then...

MD103657 supersedes MD109992 as a part number so it should be ok for an AC.

Who is correct here?

Is there a difference between between injectors ie 2 different grey top's and black top's.

If you look at the part numbers on the injectors, you may notice that the early leaded or black top injectors have a H code while the later unleaded or grey top injectors have a L code. As long as the injectors both have the same code then the injectors are the same. In your case you would want 2 injectors with Lxxx.
