Any Ideas why my rev counter would not be working? Tried replacing the gauge cluster but still no joy????? could it be the type of coil I have installed? Its a standard Bosch part number SU12
Seems the Auto meter tacho also not working and causes volt drop on the coil to 6V when cranking if its hooked up?

Any ideas please??

Did you ensure when you changed the coil that the white wire was on the NEGATIVE side, and the Black/White was on the positive?

Sounds to me like you have wired it back to front.
