Right .............here is how to do it............grab some knuckles off of a magna........the cordia CV's won't fit as they are too small 25/23/50mm in the sealing department against the oil seal and it will leak grease...........remove the outer cordia CV's and replace with HG, HH Galant items at 25/23/54mm.

The rears will require the original drums or discs to be re-patterned with new studs fitted..........easy.

You can re-drill the rear drums yourself.........you only need the pattern and a 13mm drill bit.............as for the driveshafts, just knock them off and replace with the Galant ones.

With the rear drums that need drilling how do you center where the new studs will be? What can be used?

Grab a 5 stud magna disc and clamp in place through one stud, rotate until the outer edges meet........the rear is a little difficult due to the centre hub diameter is larger.........if you don't feel confident get a machine shop to do it.

I did the 5 stud magna conversion back to four stud when I put 3000GT brakes on.........it's quite easy.

It's a handful believe me..........2.3 DOHC T72 turbo, 18 psi boost at 3500rpm......equal length drive.....408hp atws..........waiting for the gearbox to explode!..........it scares the SHIT out of me and I've owned it for 23 years.

You will have the same problem........later magnas run a different set up, straight axle instead of a conical, but you can re-drill the magna disc as the hat size is quite large.

Haven't heard of many people whinging with big disc fronts and magna disc rear end with an E3 brqje booster powering it. Galants with 350kwatw run fine on the same setup without concerns.
