Trying to think back to when I tried to hook up a head-unit in my Cordia a few months ago, I don't remember seeing speakers wires or not enough when comparing to the wiring colour code listed on this forum ?

Could anyone shed some light ? Much appreciated.

Cheers.

Yep........you'll find the common earth (black) runs all of the speakers (series wired) which leaves you with 5 wires. Cordia has 3 front speakers in the dash, 2 next to the rear parcel shelf.

Okay so I've pulled out the factory unit again, and here is what I'm left with ..

Black/Yellow - Constant 12V
Blue/White - Switched 12V+
Green/White - Illumination
Black/White ?
Black/Red ?
Black/Green ?
White/Blue ?

I can get power, but now I'm encountering the sound/speaker problem ..

aftermarket stereos will not like the common ground wiring setup. It would be wise to run new wires.
