What's too late?

Over 5000rpm?

At what revs does maximum boost occur?

It probably hits boost noticeably at about 4000 rpm and hits max about 6000 rpm.I've owned the car for ten years and it just doesn't seem to pull like it used too.I also have a big front mount but haven't put it on because I was told it will get more lag

hey all sorted out late boost,it was just a few leaks in the intercooler piping but have a new problem now i have boost im getting around 14psi boost at around 5500 rpm but when i get to there the car shudders and hesitates to pull any more,im thinking it may be lack of fuel or some kind of cut off so to try fix this i disconnected the yellow wire on the fire wall to stop that and i wound the rich and lean screw up to rich but these things have done nothing so need some ideas or if anyone knows the cause please tell me and also just curious on the best place to set the dizzy timing?

That screw, on the side of the throttle body, is only for idle mixture and should make a noticeable difference to the idle if everything is working.
