Hey there,
prob been covered before, but
just wondering if anyone can help me out with part numbers on
the power steering, alternator and a/c belts

the part no's on my engine before were 4pk970 for alternator
and 4pk920 on the A/c ones

but mechanic said the a/c one 4pk0955

i quoted the shop those number's
and they gave me a 4pk0955 and 4pk0970, the alternator one seems to be to short, think is wrong cos has 0970 no, and the other one was 970, and aircon one seems to be to long???

do different brands use different 4pk numbers, this has me really confused

also checked meeks under vr4 parts and they have
another 3 different belt numbers
4pk990,4pk925,13A0675

wtf this is doing my head in, can somone help please, so can get my engine back in my car.

Your car: MY car? hmmm a black hunk of metal that moves once every year
4pk 990 is longer than 4pk925 im 99% sure

edit
from what i just googled the number is MM

Why not just go to any parts store and ask for a 4pk920? and 970?

Maybe slightly off topic but I bought a timing belt kit for my Evo but I will be using HKS belts.
PM me if you would like the OEM timing belt/balancer belt.

if you go to Mitsubishi
alt belt VS000083 is $23.00 ( 4PK0990 )
power steer VS000108 is $12.45 ( 13A0675 ) ( size 660 )

dealers may very , but there cheap for genuine belts I think

far out that is reasonable
i should've went genuine :(
i just didn't bother checking how much the genuine ones were
cos thought they'd be expensive. hmm actually pretty much the same price
and the genuine ones are prob better, i found that with my toyota anyway,
if didn't use genuine, they end up squeking/squealing anyway.

Thanks once again for the info :) appreiciate it
