My Service Manual (includes cordia/tredia and Space wagon) only lists km182 5 speed under 4wd vehicles, however my 4wd cordia is a 4 speed super shift box and i'm unsure of model number, but you're probably interested in 5 speed boxes only.

Thanks MiRage, yeah if you could post up some pics, that would be awesome! I've never seen the drive train of a 4wd Cordia.

New photos!!! here is the gear linkage, i had to tap the gear shifter rods and fit coupling nuts and eye ends.

Did you have to modify these?.........Magna and Galant shifters already have these from factory and are adjustable.

Its a cusco 1 way lsd.

The wreckers I went to didn't have any galants, so I used cc lancer shifter cables which don't have adjusters on them... hey andrew, are the cables you have out of a galant? If so, how long are they??

Yes it's a Galant shifter, the total length of the cable from end to end is 1535mm.

pick up the gearbox!!!! it looks like the gearbox mount will have to be modified for it to fit just from a glance at it.. Might fit the km206 just for the time being so i can get it tuned... it's getting there slowly.

It will have to be properly engineered as well at the end of this, and as of the 30th September NSW well have more stringent engineering on cars.. meaning it will be more expensive than it already is....

The cut that was made will need to be a little bit longer in length to fit the gsr box... for the time being i am fitting the Galant fwd box km206. Ran into trouble with the gearbox mount yesterday, for the mount to line up properly you MUST use both of the mounts from a Nimbus. The chassis mount from a Nimbus sits slightly higher than a Cordia one, this allows everything to line up nicely. So, it hopefully will be fully fitted this evening. I will post photos soon.

I still have a few things to do, like change the bottom radiator hose and replace the rear engine mount insert.
