I think you have to use the Hyundai for Lancer dizzy that you got the muiltpoint from ,

Im about to go down this path myself , Ive got another throttle body also , and you might need the MPI accelerator cable,

are you going to port it at all ?

You can use the standard Cordia distributor with multipoint injection, but the injection won't be sequential. If you want to use sequential injection or direct fire ignition, you would need a distributor from an L300 as mentioned or a Galant/Sonata.

as coop1er said above!
i ran a sonata optical dizzy, ran sequential injection and direct fire ignition without any dramas. ofcourse you don't HAVE to run that sort of setup, but the optical dizzy at least gives that option :D

as for throttle cable, it is not needed, but you may have to modify the bracket so that you can use the cordia cable. also, if you use the cordia cable (i did) it is prone to kinking which can lead to jamming and breaking of the cable. i was going to try the sonata cable, but i never got around to it haha

did you run aftermarket ECU's?

the dizzy I have in the 4G63 I took out has a regraphed dizzy in it already, maybe that will work, or has anyone ran a crank angle type sensor like on a VR4 DOHC ?

I think I might try other cables , I dont want to risk a Jam

yeah, i was running a microtech lt-10s.

when you use an aftermarket computer and the sonata dizzy, the dizze IS the crank angle sensor. its not actually used as a distributer to distribute spark, just as the crank angle sensor. actually can look a bit funny having a distributer there with no leads going to the cap
you go from the dizzy > ECU > ignitor > coil packs. you can run either wasted spark (pair of commodore coils or something) or run direct fire, i think i was using 4 x ford bosche coils.

but you can still run the conventional distributer style with multipoint if you want to. because the distributer can still run as the crank angle sensor aswell, you get your sequential injection. really depends on your preferences/cash/goal with the car :D
