Hmmm not sure but you've fudged something! Put some gloves on, Unplug the lead that goes from the coil to the dizzy and hold it near your rocker cover. Get someone to crank it over and look for spark. If you have spark coil is fine. (dont forget to wear gloves)
I have everything you need to do a process of elimination if you want? Try that first but i dunno.....
The fact that the idle changed when it arced indicates to me that maybe you've damaged the cts or the e101 or the computer or the coil.
Lemme know how you go mate

ok, i have hotwired the coil to another safe power source, and the car fires up and runs fine. so i got the E101 from PSIGSR and plugged it in without the coil being hotwired and still didnt work, after a few other tests the car still ran with the new e101 so i know it works, but in the end its not the problem... so ive checked all the fuses and fusable links and none where faulty.... so is there a fuse or anything like an ignition fuse that i might not have checked??.. i checked the fusable link that BITZA suggested and it had continuity so its not the problem.... so yeah is there a fuse or relay that i might not have checked????

Sounds like you have stuffed the main control relay, it supplies power to the coil, ECU and fuel pump..............it can be located on the passenger side kickpanel behind the glovebox............if you have used another 12v source to get it running then that has to be the culprit.

haha yeah thanks.. always good to have a spare, if u need it back ill keep it aside... i had to get a blade to clear the silicone out of the terminal, then use a soldering iron to clear off the mounds and mounds of soulder they piled onto it, but yeah it seemed to work fine...... the thing is i have the glove box out atm and i didnt see it earlier, but i dint have the most thorough look i must admit...

ill have a better look tomoz..

now its running ill look for the relay, then ill take it down to see jon to see what he thinks about the "off boost" acceleration problems

sorry james, for eg, if i am sitting there idling and i open the throttle a bit to much too quickly it splutters and tries cutting out... also happens when driving if im in say second at 2-2.5k rpm and i floor it it will hessitate and splutter, im guessing its a vaccume problem and it stops doing it once its on boost, then it revs clean and pulls hard

Sounds like a tuning problem, mainly acceleration enrichment...........check the vac line to the ECU as you don't run an AFM.
