hey fellas, in my 12v dash head i was just wondering y is it that at about 3500rpm i get nocking coming from under the tappet cover, i have set my tappets about 3 times now (currently on 3 intke and 6 thou exhaust, done when hot).
today when i was driving home, i heard a really bad knocking constantly got home cover off and one of the lifter tops was loose tightnd it up as tight as i thought was good for it then put it back together, tapping started comming in at 3500

It was running good when i set the tappets last friday but now its noisy as again, if anyone can share some light on this or the correct tappet settings for the 12v i would be greatly appreciative.
