bonnet looks great

though you shouldnt have to repaint your whole car!

the colour of the bonnet now, looks as though it matches to the nosecone but it might just be the contrast of the picture - did you ground coat the bonnet first or just hit it straight with the metallic blue?

take your fuel cap into your paint supplier, get him to colour match it as best as he can.. scruff the guards down..paint the bonnet then on your final coat just blend the paint onto the top section of the guard - then clear completely, most cases you should get away with it

goodluck!

Too late............have hit the panels with clear..............the bonnet was painted in the undercoat blue first.........I'll just paint it a panel at a time......gives me something to do.........not too mention the paint is over eight years old.

Here is how the paint is looking, as you can see it's a totally different shade of blue.

Which rear garnish shall I use?

Standard:

Easy fitment plus the number plate fits.

Or the import:

Need to drill 2 more holes, rewire and get a new plate.

Decisions, decisions...................humm.

Any chance you could take pics with the plate on for comparison??

Standard, big dark plate plus dark rear bar clashes IMO. Too much clutter with the Cordias big fat rear tail lights and kinda looks sci-fi, reckon the inset plane standard gives it a bit of a breather at the back.

P.s what rear bar is that?
