There's a round metal unit that's bolted onto the side of the gearbox(facing the driver's front wheel) with 2 hoses coming out of it - it's called the 5th gear actuator, right? Let me know if i'm wrong.

Well mine was leaking out from inside the boot, so i took it apart and it looks sort of similar to a clutch cylinder system, where it has a shaft with a round seal on it.
My question is: where can you get a rebuild kit from? Only genuine? I tried bursons, repco etc. and they don't have any listings. Can't call mitsu because it's the weekend. If anyone has replaced this before, how much was the kit and where from?

Thanks!

The Vacuum actuator is only serviced as an assy. No repair kit.
Have to go for new or second hand

The TM Magna is the only magna to have that set up but the vacuum actuator for a TM Magna is a different part nunber to the cordia turbo but it may well work. Colts don't have that set up they are a twin stick arrangement with no vacuum fifth just another gear stick.
