Nashy> hehehe, thought u'd like that one...

and... ...yeah, totally inspired, you made it look SOOOO fun!

IDEA> Instead of Macca's trays, how bout street signs! They'd last longer (might melt ya tyres a bit) and would look CCRRAAZZYYY in the dark with sparks everywhere... + we can kill some of those bloody horrible 40km/h signs (that seem to be popping up everywhere, including my street) in the process!

Edit: Of course, i would manufacture the signs myself  , and we would use my private skidpan in my back yard.

They are cheaper than you think, Nash - Bunnings sell them in packs for about $7. I bought some a while back to use for some weird little project I won't bore you with and I was surprised how little they cost. The pack I got had 3 different sized boards in them.

They were packaged as cutting boards if that helps.

Ooooo.. ur onto something there. Not only would it destroy those evil signs, it would last tonnes long!
But ur quite right it would melt ur tires good - but heres something else... stick the signs to the bottoms of maccas trays so u hav insulation between the tires and signs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Yeh baby yeh! I am so doing that... well... as soon as my car is going...

Who wants to see photos of the results? I think i do lol

HOW TO MAKE A METAL BASED MACCAS TRAY

wat you need to do is get a maccas tray take it home drill 4 holes in it in the 4 courners you then get a street sign, drill corresponding holes in it and bolt it to the tray

This way the sign wont come off the bottom of the tray and you can change the sign over when it wears out.

Plus if you do up the bolts tight enough then the bolts wont hit the road and wear out as it will bend in to the tray a bit!

Now thats how you make a metal based maccas tray!

Steve
