What the hell does it do? I've been bugged about this since I got my car.. lol :) When I press it, a relay clicks in the dash a second or so later but nothing happens.

No it's not a *completely* stupid question... I'm considering using this button to control my 5th gear solenoid :P It sounds like it's already got a relay hooked up to it so it might be easier than I thought :D

Astaroth.

depends on your car, but in both my cordias you must have the headlights on for it to work. I remember discovering one night, hey, my headlight washers work now!, took about five minutes to click what difference between then and the previous morning was.

That button bugged me for ages too till i found out one night. It'll be mad for a NOS button switch. Well my light washers sprays straight up and looks like i'm purging NOS. LOL.

the whole headlight washer is possibly the worst invention ever, makes you wonder if the Irish were the real designers

I feel sorry for the GSL budget pack owners that dont have them... i cant imagine what they would do if their headlights got dirty??? poor people ... they should ask in the tech section how to fix the problem

I reckon it would be shithouse for nos, because then when you push the button, you have to keep holding it down etc! Do you want to have to hold your hand on the indicator when you are boosting hard/ hitting vtec/ cracking out the nos!

I use it to squirt people infront of my car, I just rerouted the hose to point out the front and put a nozzle on the end, now it has a hefty range of about 4 meters. Whats the best thing you have squirted? Glad you asked, I was sitting at a set of lights and if front of me was a couple of snobby biatches who I gave a smile to earlier (and they snobbed me off) in a targa 300zx, so I gave them a bit of a spray in through their roof, hahaha, screams and dirty looks all round, I was quite satisfied

You could use it for NOS if you set up a timer IC for it, so that after being pressed once it stays open for a preset number of seconds.

I just used mine for opening a solenoid actuated hidden compartment - simple to do, can't be discovered by accident in a search.
