Just checked your vid.........I'll think the code reader will go off..........your car is revving at 1500rpm when hot or running temp, the ISC will need adjusting through the TPS.

temp is good running normal my fan comes on.
i have no idea what ISC is but im sure i'll find out.
the variable resistor not doing anything with temp warmed up.
guessing tps in need of attention will help resistor perform.

ISC..........sorry I hate acronyms myself..........Idle speed controller.

The variable resistor won't work properly until the engine is on base idle, which is switched as part of the ISC.

excellent thank you sir.

In the 1st video, you show the dizzy twisted all the way anticlockwise and state that if you twist it clockwise, the engine will rev higher. I suggest you check the throttle position screw and loosen it. That will bring revs down allowing you to adjust the dizzy to its proper position and timing. Bring revs to 800rpm then adjust dizzy to 10 degrees.

If you do this make sure you disconnect the ISC from the loom.......if you wind the idle down with it connected the position sensor will try to open the throttle again and throw an error code, plus the voltage to the TPS MAY be incorrect.

The engine may idle at base but have no ISC involvement once reconnected, which will require adjustment of the TPS.

I couldn't understand what you are saying in the video. The exhaust actually sounds cool.

Anyway the test light is saying system normal.

Anytime you disconnect the battery, you clear the codes.

Post subject:  Re: engine

i left engine running for at least 10 min
i believe is enough time for all sensors to give me something wrong.
scanner light just stays on.

Its saying there is no code error.......what does it do with just the ignition on?

Does your ISC extend then retract with the ignition on?

Can't see why it's idling so high with no code error.

thanks for reply.

been playing around with screw that TheChosen1 mention
it made a difference managed to get revs down to 1k rpm with dizzy in center.
after so many attempts turning screw one way nothing happen them turning other way etc.
both my battery's are flat now :(
have them both on charge.
not able to check ISC will have look in morning.
im still unsure what isc looks like ,im guessing its this bad guy in pic.

well it was almost impossible to remove covers on alternator got the fist cover off .
had to use impact gun to remove the pulley off.
got the top cover off them center rotor would not come out
some how the bearing was stuck  ,
managed to remove 2 screws holding coil but 1 screw was still left in .
i cap hitting center cover where the bearing sits no luck.
bits of hard plastic cap falling out of the case.
some how i managed to move coil far enough to remove other screw.
center bearing is damaged also the box where the brushes sit is damaged.
i was going to get blue slip this Saturday now impossible
anyone have alternator?
