You will need to remove the timing cover, there is another bolt in behind it, yes you will need a new gasket.

Thanks for that.
You can see lots of rust oil filter also sump.
Had rust removed from sump and painted.
I got new oil filter and oil going in soon as I get engine in car.

Im not sure if removing will be best thing.
I'll have a look in wreckers for cooler
Maybe lancer has same hoses might work out cheaper.
Them buying gasket possibly leak oil after too.
Im just not lucky with gaskets

It will be advisable to use genuine oil cooler hoses. I wouldnt trust using slip on hose barbs on 60psi pressure behind them, secured by hose clamps. You will risk major disaster if they slip off. Thats just my advice.

Great advise thanks but I will take my chances.
Just wondering how much psi is on power steering as you turn?
Reason is I managed to get me the 2x psteering banjo adapters fits perfect as you can see in pics.
Also found me oil cooler should fit nicely as well managed to get engine in but having problems
Sitting engine on back engine mount ran out of time.
Got all I needed from wreckers.

Update on my engine.
Last night I couldn't get engine to sit in engine mounts was one of those days.
This morning when straight in with no fuss. I think I was too tired.
Found another surprise stud broken from exhaust manifold that made my day!
Pretty much spent all day fixing this mess. I didn't have the right size drill bits
Drive to hardware spent at least 1 hour getting new drill bits.
Managed to get it done as you can see in pics.
I forgot what is like to work on old cars

Not sure about your oil cooler banjo's, did you also use the rubber/copper washers to stop it leaking?

Great job on the broken stud, they can be a real pain!!!

Banjo adaptors are of power steering and they work same way 2 copper washers each banjo bolt.
In fact if you cut the hose of the banjo you will see a spring.
I think 1/2 meter long inside the hose also attached to the fitting.
I should have taken pictures but I was to damn tired .
I believe stops the hose from kinking and makes the hose nice and strong.
The only thing is the clamps that worries me.
Im using heavy duty stainless steel clamps.
But with oil getting pretty hot will soften the hoses and oil pressure
I understand what im up against.
In fact I was thinking in using different clamps like the ones afm has
obviously will be smaller clamps but same type there very strong
The only problem with those clamps if I over tight them can cut hose.

Disconnect the air flow meter and remove the rubber inlet tube to the turbo, start the engine, observe if the turbo is spinning or not.

Will do when I get it started.
Managed to find the oil banjo ,both bolts fell behind my bench.
My wife said just relax you will find it in morning!
She was right .
Had to replace thermostat in the inlet water just got to bolt it all up.
OK the tps on this manifold has only 3 wires and has no variable resistor
My original one has 6 wires with resistor
Will this work with my ecu?
Don't really wont to change them around if I can.
The other thing my 6 pin plug is bigger them the 3 pin where can I get 3 pin plug?

That's an AC set up, you need an AB TPS with variable resistor..........you're going to have to change them over or...........you could insert a small screwdriver and remove each pin and put in the other socket for the TPS, that way you won't have to remove it.

Just make sure you draw a diagram before you do it.

When you first said I will need AB TPS with variable resistor.
I just changed them over it was a pain cause don't have small enough screw driver
Dizzy in the way anyway managed to do it now just worried of the little plastic catch inside tps
That's in the right spot timing .
The wires coming out of black case of tps should they be pointing up or down?
You would think it would be pointing down stop water from going in

Nope, that's the correct orientation, if I were you I would make an error code reader, will make setting the TPS a lot easier.

Update
got TPS all done .
Install oil cooler not easy to find a spot.
Cause of the shape of this cooler.
Also I will need space for intercooler.
Managed to find a spot had to use 2x flat rubbers to stop radiator and condenser
From rubbing against cooler like in pictures.
