Its been quite some time but as things should have it, I have just purchased "Another" Cordia.

My first Cordia I purchased back in 2000 was a Red 85 AB GSR. As one of my first cars I poured every spare cent into it.
In 2004 it was sold after I purchased a Galant VR4. I still have the Galant and it takes up valuable space in my garage.
95% complete with 10's of thousands spent on everything. It has been resting for 6 long years.

I did manage to stumble upon my old Cordia on here at one point, but it has since moved owners several time and was nothing like how I left it. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15768

I did also look after a white VR4 powered cordia for sometime while a good friend was trying to sell it.
This was a handful and one hell of a fun car. But after a few months and no sales it went back to its owner.

Time ticks over to 2013 and out of boredom I am searching eBay and discover my new toy.
Not looking for a car, and knowing I would be in trouble from the wife if I was to buy another car, I glanced over it.
Then we got talking about cars and she said she missed the cordia I once owned, this is when I showed her this.
Much to my amazement she wasn't completely against the idea, so that was a YES in my opinion.

Had my old man go check it out as its a few hours from where I live, and to my surprise it is in remarkably good, original condition. Drives great, stops great. So I stalked ebay and landed this sweet ride for just under $1300. Hopefully I can pick it up later this week.

I intend to keep it pretty well unmolested and use it as my daily drive.

Look forward to being part of the Cordia Power community once more.

The Cordy looks good :) I seen it on ebay the other day also.

Your up at Ipswich I see! Only an hour and a half from me, should come out for a cruise or something once you've gotten settled into the new Cordia :)
Mine should be back on the road in the next few weeks.

Picked it up today and drove it back from Caboolture to my place - about 75kms.
Wasn't in as good as condition as I had hoped, but still a bargain for the price paid.
Going to need some TLC, but should make a good daily.

Exhaust Hangers are solid I think and rattle sometimes - quite annoying. Time to replace cannon with something more sedate looking.
Idle hunts around something cronic. Idles 1700-2000rpm, think this is TPS.
When the car is warm it will sometimes stall when you pull up at the lights (not sure where to start on this).
Think front rotors need machining. Vibration in front end under heavy breaking.

Will get there though.

Yep, an incorrectly set TPOS will cause stalling on deceleration and high idle.

Build an error checker first...........this will make diagnosis very easy.

Sounds like something to do on the weekend if I get time.

Out of interest who are the Brisbane Local's that are still on here in the cordia game ?

Seem to be having issues with the Idle Speed Controller.
Did the TPS and ISC reset on the weekend after clearing codes.
But have code 6 (ISC) again.

Car behaves better, but will still stall when warm and stopped after driving.

Does anyone have procedure to test if ISC is faulty?

I'm driving around in that white cordia now. Got it off Toran in Toowoomba. Still going strong but i've put a bit of money into it.

Good to see that thing is still around.
Still rates as one of the most fun cars I have ever driven, thing torque steered like nothing else.

So I've noticed there are a few people around the SE QLD area popping up again.

Would anyone be interested in me organizing a meet for us?
