So u all are probably aware that ive been trying a pod setup lately posting new threads n shit, here is just a rough idea of how im going to run a pod. The main goal is to have the pod at the front of my car so its sucking cold air,

but have a few questions first am i doing any harm by removing.the panel filter and mounting a hose into the airbox then at the end attaching a pod..mainly cos i want the induction noise and flutter lol,

this is what ive made a hole, put a hole in the top of the airbox, removed the air panel filter inserted a garden hose with the mini pod attachted to a copper pipe and finally achieved a flutter. Keep in mind it is just a idea and a small pod so the dose isnt too loud but im thinking that will.change with a bigger pod. heres a pic sorry if it small.again Image

Dear god, is that an oil breather? When you said mini pod I thought you meant a small pod filter.
I'm doubting that you've blocked off the intake point from the snorkel so you need to put your air
filter back in immediately. And please do not try blocking it off.

If you really must do this you need to get yourself some 2.5" tubing, some clamps, and a 2.5" POD filter.
Remove the snorkel, run the tubing down into the guard/bumper area and mount the pod with a bracket.
Avoid driving in the wet and patch the hole you drilled in the airbox.

all i have on mine is cut air-box 14psi and a front mount the flutter is decent you hear it even on a low rpm shift, when i removed the cooler the cut box still gives me small dossssssse but most of my flutter came from the cooler.

There was a car in melb running a custom intake the afm was put in a pipe right at the turbo (battery relocation) then a small bend to the front with a pod on it, the job was very well done and i don't recall him having any issues.

How ever if you do the custom pipe you may find other issues the biggest one is unmetered air even a small amount will cause issues!
