Loving what your doing with your restoration.. I've had one in storage for the last couple of years, but due to most things financial can't afford to actually spend money on it just yet, just slowly sourcing brand new parts. Can't wait until yours is done mate, it'll be a pearl

EDIT **

Gee your lads are hard to please lol, and yes Koray.. their genuine parts floating around from Preston Mitsubishi

My Inspiration; wish i knew if this was still held onto by its owner

Unfortunately not. If it were, you would have already been for a spin.

Where did you score those indicators? are they genuine?

Simmons suit any car! Love that old 80's feel.. How did you go with the roof racks, especially with fitting that further rear one??

I bought the car with roof racks already installed...thought i could take them off, turns out it was done professionally. I would've had to take the roof lining out i reckon to take them off....then there would be 8 holes to bog up...so i just left 'em.

Hey Pete,

Glad to see you're still hanging onto a Cordia.

I came across the flickr account that the photo of the black cordia is on.
Seems to be a scan of an old photo, and going by the comments the
owner got rid of it a long time ago. Be interesting to know where it ended up.

Some more Simmons love below.

New intake pipe in need of a polish

Image

Timing belt done, new water pump, sump resealed. All engine leaks repaired (except for the damn oil cooler). Doesn't look pretty, bit of a mess actually...but it runs perfect, is quick and it makes all the right noises. Will eventually tidy up the wiring and get a proper galant accelerator cable. And hopefully i'll be able to find the silicone reducers i need in black.
