Yep...........there is an earth wire on the hatch lock.

If the connection is touching all the time the light will remain on.

Once again thanks for your help bitza

I pulled the latch off was very dirty, cleaned it
Up cleaned up the terminal. And tested it touching
When latch open not touching wen closed.
Whacked it back together and didn't work, light was
still on wtf Lol. So I pulled the whole boot apart and found.
Someone spliced there own gnd into it. Removed it
All working properly now.

And since I had the whole boot apart
I washed and polished the inside of the boot.

Was a lot of muck in the boot. this was water once

Whacked the
Spare tyre from blues in there.

Whacked the glove
Box back in to.

Rear windscreen bottle wasn't connected, changed the bottle cos it wouldve been to hard to clean out

Not to much more for me to do now. Until
Service sa give me another big list lol.

Tested the db at idle sitting 82-83db at idle
But when the rev it to 3k on deceleration
Prob gonna be just over. So have to spend
More money just for a few db. Lol.

Also can here the fuel pump spitting
Got 1/4 a tank still. I changed fuel filter
In the engine bay earlier. But shouldn't there be
Another from the tank fed into the pump
To stop filth getting in the pump? Or maybe
Airs getting in there?

edit:
would this be another fuel filter looks standard or something, no markings or is it some other fuel thingo?

That white thing is for the return line as far as i know. Not sure what it does exactly but pretty sure it's a one way valve. Not something that needs replacing anyway.

Had to get an op done Tuesday, so been out of action
For awhile been pretty sheet times. Hope to
Finish her off when get better and go for an inspection.

And in other news think dad found all the missing bolts
I was after hopefully there the ones :)

you running a tdo5 20g? what power o/p/ torque figures with that big snail on there? have to keep the lil 14b
on there for now till its back on the road...
