for a complete spray in a simple colour i had one quote of 2k but ofc there are the refresher painters who do light sand and then spray over the top for like 600 bucks but its shit house!

If you can spend a day or so doing some of the sanding and what not then take it to the shop for the finish of preping then spray that can save u some cash

mate i am a ex spray panter/ panel beating. first if you have any dints fix them, you will be kicking your self after its all painter it just not worth the stress

like terance said 600-1000 for a really bad job and when i say bad over spay every where dry paint again not worth the stress

if you do all the prep and bring it flat it will cost ya about 1500- 2000 for an ok job then cust get it cust and polished for $100 and you will be happy as

painting a car is a big commitment if you want it done right. it can take a long time to prep

yep. Ive painted 5 and EVERY time the prep & body work has let me down. Painting is the easiest part!
For example i just paid $500 for everything to paint my car arctic white, But i dont wanna do the bodywork on this one.
So hopefully i take the car to a panel beater with nothing to do but the bogwork, fork out $500, Then take it home paint it myself and bingo. Mint car for $1000.

I just dont like doing bodywork anymore , I find painting the fun part though , if its a small repair Im not to worried though

but it depends on how good you want it to be at the end of the day , Ive seen paint jobs from $12k to $45k , my last one was $5k on my evo , which was only ment to be a minor repair for stone chips etc , but I got to fussy and got them to use Glazarath paint

you could do it yourself for quater the price , keep your eye on gsr-007's as he does great body work
