Does anyone know where i can get the rebuild specs for the 62? Exact bore specs, Piston sizes etc etc? Also What does deleting balance shafts achieve (parden the noob question) And as posted earlier with them removed does the crank need to be balanced? Also where abouts could i seat the 3rd injector, Does anyone have any pics of one setup? As it would be a good cheap option for high boost applications not too sure about daily driving and streetability tho. And last but not least what motor is the 8v Head off?

Cheers

Yes crank should always be balanced. With a good balance you will not notice that the shafts have been removed.

Removing balance shafts:

Goods:
Increased oil pressure
Faster reving engine
Less things to go wrong (if they are not there, they cannot fail)

Not so goods:
You will feel small vibrations
you loos $100

I have the full genuine workshop engine and body manuals for 61's, 62's, 63's SOHC and DOHC's. You can borrow it but if I need to ref it for a customers job I'll need it back.
Actually, I gotta find it, I lent it to a mate and didnt get it back.
