I'm well aware that I could have purchased a 600x300 hybrid from mercury for $550, why pay $70 more?... first reason, Fitting. The 600 doesn't fit all that well in the front of the little cordz without cutting out the front bar like crazy (Astaroth's car case in point), my car being set out to look as stock like and tidy as possible this wasn't really an option. The 450 coolers are really hard to find and as such people tend to charge MORE for them than the bigger ones, and lastly it cools as well as i'll ever need it to even at twice the boost i'm running, the 600 wouldn't look as tidy (in spite of it's hugeness which is cool) and be laggier (see above for testimony). it was worth the $70.

sorry mate wasnt having a go at u i just couldnt work out why it would have been more. personally i think your right, the 600 would have massive lag. i was going to get the 600 for my galant but it will stick below the bumper so ill bend it up in no time
if i can find a 400 ill grab it

note to all wanting a 600 i/c: http://www.theintercoolerguy.com
