Hey guys,

It's taken a while but I've finally gotten out and polished her, and managed to find a nice sunny afternoon to get some photo's.

The updated site is here. The new pics are there.

Next week I'm getting the Kmac kit and then the ROH rims on the weekend. I'm getting a new front bumper sometime next week (theONE, I WILL pick it up soon!! :) ) and headlight surrounds when I can find em.

Astaroth.

the cooler looks very neat and tidy. very straight example of a cordia, but yeah the 17"s will totally set of the car when added to the lowered suspension. NICE work, cant wait to see it when its finished.

The old DASH motor is long gone - it was so rooted we just dumped it. There were cracks in the block and everything :P The front bumper has a bigassed crack above the numberplate, and doesn't sit properly... have a look here and you'll see what I mean.

There's also a photo here of the pearl - this is about the ONLY photo that I can get to capture the pearl AT ALL. It doesn't want to photograph, it's a bastard. This is the best shot I have gotten of it so far... just to give you an idea. It's deeper than that when you see it in person. Anyone got any tips for photographing pearl?

She goes pretty well... did a 0-100 (with a mobile phone stopwatch and me yelling out when to start and stop) and recorded 6 seconds flat, but I reckon that's a bit out.. can't be TOO far out though. I'm going to go out of town for one saturday and do 20 or 30 1-100 runs and average the times out, that should prove a little more accurate.

That's about all the running info I have on her... since I got her back I really haven't had a chance to give her a good thrashing. She's great on the highway though, I drive 50k's or so to work every day and she loves that trip.

I'll keep y'all posted as more info becomes available.

Astaroth.

ROFL ox, hope not heh :)

Thanks for the kind words so far guys, nice to know I'm heading down the right track :) I'll be keeping my page as up to date as possible, so keep an eye on it.

I'm in the process of setting up a script to run a newsboard system so I can make easy updates, but god damned iprimus won't let me run CGI's... anyone know a good web hosting providor that is extremely cheap (e.g. as free as possible without popup banners)? Don't need domains or any of that crap, just 5-10meg space.

Astaroth.

ROFL, I come with the car buddy, sorry :)

I'm near Newcastle, NSW, but will be in Sydney this weekend (or maybe next weekend) ... would be happy to take you for a spin.

Another update : the brake upgrade, 3" exhaust and wheels should be on in the next 2 weeks. Suspension will be fitted this weekend. I've just walked into another $1000 to spend (yay for that lovely letter from the bank saying 'we have increased your credit card limit' :D ) so this first stage should be finished real soon.

Will keep ya's posted ;)

Astaroth.

Yeah, I'm HANGING for it to be lowered and have the wheels fitted... even though she goes alright and doesn't look TOO bad, I still feel like a bit of a stooge driving it at the moment ;)

And yes, headlight surrounds are next on the list hehehe :D

Doesn't look like I'll be heading down this weekend, will probably be next weekend. Kmac gear still hasn't arrived, and I dont want the wheels til I get that.

I'll keep ya posted though, shouldn't be long.

Any other sydney peeps wanna meet up with me and (maybe) livewire for a couple of hours when we're down?

Astaroth.

This is similar to how I'd like my Cordia - how that is at the moment - Absolute sleeper.

Make it look like a GSL, but my dreams are for a 3" Zorst out the ass end, so yeah, would kinda spoil the whole sleeper look...

I don't know what it is about sleepers that appeal to me, but they just do. Mine's half way there, ripped all the badging off, but I'm keeping the GSR Front Grille.

Nice ride man, very nice indeed.
