Fella's,

Its come to the point where I need to make a decision.

My cordz has had much better days! Is up for a rebuild/replace/or conversion.
(hopefully I will score a 2nd hand replacement for the meantime)

Originally I was gonna just buy an R33 but after looking into insurance, I think NOT!

All my mates here keep tryin 2 egg me into either gettin the skyline or a 10 second RX-2.

Im not sure what Im gonna do yet and am wanting your opinions!

I thought I could fix up the cordz and go the VR4 (for the second time) but not so crazy this time. Just use stock ECU etc.
(should be easier to do the 2nd time round..LOL)

Or I could sell the cordz off cheap and buy maybe a series 4 Rx-7.

What do you all think?

well...
The final decision has been to get rid of the cordz and get a 10 second blown lexus v8 mounted to a freestyle bmx.

Should be sik.
lol

I got a quote from the Engine Centre in Canberra (nettlefold street i think, near dyno tune) and they said 3k for a standard rebuild. With them doing all the work.
I thought that was freakin steep!!
The parts are only 1k. I didnt realize how damn expensive time was worth these days... I swear i dont get paid that much money.

For 3k, i'd just go the vr4 again. But for that very reason (i dont have 3k) i cant.

i might go get astaroth's motor(wats left of it after the vultures...lol) and rebuild it myself.

hmmm....so far away though

mate, when it comes down to it. it is up to you and what your tastes are, what ur comfortable in, what goes well, how much it'll cost and if you can see yourself in it. and of course if it'll pull some descent chicks. but if its an opinion your after, stick with the cordia, get another VR4 cos basically in style and looks it leaves an RX2 for dead. the series 4 RX-7 would be close competition though. but yeah it is up to you, its your money.
