I'm going down to Calder Park to finally put my car down the 1/4 mile.

If anyone is interested in a cruise there, or even chucking your car down the 1/4 mile aswell, let us know.

It'll either be on Fri 30th Jan, or Fri 6th Feb (depending on weather etc.)

It costs $55 to run.
Each car is checked before they can run (battery is secure, enough coolant in overflow reservoir, no oil/water leaks). You also need a helmet. 8)
Anything i have missed, let me know!

Cheers,
Peter.

I just found out that on the 30th I have a RDO 8) so no work equals drags at Calder!

Friday 6th Feb will be the day... as long as it doesn't rain.

Oil and water leaks shouldn't be a problem by the 6th. Hopefully

Be good to have another 'CON' on the 6th, starting off going to the calder meet.

Cheers.

Hey Pete,

Dammit, I nearly have my car ready for action. Got a couple of new tyres and everything. Gonna fix the injector seals today.

Ahh well next week is kinda better from the cash POV anyway.

Hey Rob,

The missing was caused by the screw on top bit of a spark plug coming off and getting stuck in the ignition leads. All fixed now. Timing nicely set at 14 BTDC :-)

Got a couple of other little things to fix - thought the injector seals were sweet but they are fukking leaking again!

Alex

Is anybody racing at Calder this week?

I planned to, but I just can't fix my fudging injector seals. Three sets now and none have worked.

I don't plan on running but i do wanna come watch if pete and some others are..

Alex, glue the seals in place and to the injectors with a windscreen adhesive...sounds dodgy i know, works a reat tho...just don't get fuel on it till it's set a bit...
