yeah still gotta clear the defect, it's going to take many attempts i reckon, even though I've tidied up as much as i can. still long way from driving it i guess. and i'm sure they'll find something, they always do.
but soon gonna gently run it in a little bit on the dyno, and check few things 2.

this was the mystery wire was talking bout in previous posts
Image
Image
in the blue cordia the connector had been cut off and wired straight to +ve of the battery
it's a black wire with red dot near connector and part of the loom that goes up inside of the drivers
gaurd, i assumed it plugged into the relay box but no spare connections

then checked out the red cordia battery loom, had a connector to plug it in
Image
think the wire is important car won't start without it connector, looks like no power to ECU without it
just want to confirm goes straight to the +ve battery terminal with no, fuse, or through a relay or sumthin.
in other words were is this wire wired on original cord turb setup?
thanks

um just wondering if anyone has a radiator over flow bottle cap. Or can u still buy em? Both the caps from both cars have craks in em. I got few bottles from the wreckers from standard cords but seem 2 b diff caps and sizes.

Also could any one show me what the bolt looks like that bolts that metal strut from the gearbox to the rear engine mount on driverside. I cant find the one that goes through the gearbox ev one i try has a dif thread. Been so long i cant find it. Silly questions i know.

Mark,
What bolt/s are you after........the one that bolts through the mount or the other that bolts through the chassis?

I have some overflow caps here........they are the AB style though.

on the rear engine mount theres a metal bar on driverside. The engine mount bolts through got that one ok. The other end of the metal bar mounts onto the gearbox sort of on the halfway point on gearbox. Where i guess it unbolts from the belts from bell housing il take a pic if needed

ok so ive been getting sick of the driverside window being hard to rolldown and moving all over the place
the winder spline thing had to much movement in it side to side
was hoping that would unbolt from the rest of the window mech
but looks like its all one piece, so i did the old switcharoo on the complete window mech from the blue cordia
worked well regreased it and put it back in, now it feels good, another problem solvered.
