I'm getting an error sending a PM, does anyone know what the problem is?

PMs should still be working. The problem lies with the email notification, but shouldn't affect posts or PMs.

You'll get it if you're posting to a thread that someone has subscribed to as well.

it still affects posts. but the post still gets through... odd

That's what I meant. It doesn't affect the post or the PM, the problem is with the email notification.

I have just found out that the host has blocked the email capability of this site due to SPAM. Bloody spammers some how have hacked into the mail script that is used on this site to send out spam. I am currently working on getting this fixed.

I'll keep you guys informed.

I have temporarily fixed the problem by using an SMTP server instead. You shouldn't be getting the errors anymore. This also fixes the email notification problem.
