I was thinking that maybe we should have a more active home page

Merely a fleeting thought but perhaps getting some ideas in here could be good, considering the front page hasnt been changed for years :(

Perhaps taking some of the FAQ's and listing them in a PDF or something and list of known working mods and what not in an easy to find source

more current user cars and perhaps an article on the electric cordia (when i get more info)

OH and maybe trying to find out if some of those cordia's still exist and perhaps contacting the owners see if the cars have changed.

sounds like your voulentering to do the research :)

if you wanna write some articles/info up i'm sure kham will stick it up there but it is a good idea, i personally would only go there once a month, just tack the /forum on the end and come straight here 99% of the time (mostley because it hasnt changed since i have been a member)

might even write some stuff up myself while i'm waiting for my vid card to come back so i can play starcraft 2

I have been meaning to give the whole Cordia Power site (excluding the forum) an overhaul and reorganise all the content but other duties have keep me from it. This is still on the cards but I can't give a time though.

If someone wants to contribute content I'll be more than happy to hear your ideas.

The maroon Cordia in the gallery used to be mine. That was seriously like 5 years ago if not more. That thing is a cube by now, got written off when a bitch asleep at the wheel hit me at 60k's up the ass....I was parked.

dam mate thats hard luck

it would be good to see the home page get some real life to it may be take some of the good thinks cordia fraks have done.
all thow this forum has all the backing and workings of one of the best forums i have seen a neat front page would just top it all of and may get the old cordia power going again

let me know if there is any thing i can do

may be a member rides part or feature cars the best of the best or may be build ups going on like travs atm

Sorry, no work done yet.

The plan though is to eventually overhaul of the entire site, taking the good bits and removing some pages. I don't have a time frame to get this completed but it is definitely on the cards.

any ideas on the newer front pages , you could update the feature cars , Bitza's car would be sweet on there

also some of the tech pages need to be updated as pics are missing , links not working

like these

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11327

no pics

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2549

Im happy to take pics when I do mine , Im still going to read the whole guide, its good info

Travis,
Even though I'm an active member in this forum Kham may not allow my car as a "centre stage" due to I'm affiliated with another cordia forum.

Disappointing really.

That's a nice EVO Travis..............but I "actively" advertise my forum where you don't.

Can't see why CordiaFreaks and Cordiapower can't get along.

should be mitsu V the world tbh...

I dont think think the cordia scene is large enough for us to be spread out. but i have no idea how to sorta that out. an amalgamation of both sites into one with a new front page and more active material would be awesome and might bring the whole thing back to a bussling glory it once was (i remember the stat 254 users only at one time September something 2004 i think) and make cruises easier to plan even interstate events wich would be just awesome really.

user groups that allow a newsletter (e-mail) once a month and/or updates on events in your state would be good but i dont think every one joined the user groups when i posted about it a few months ago.

Stupid really, but I can't see the members being the problem as they never bag the other forums out, besides many are members on both. IMO it's more the Admins and/or creators of both.

I so agree! The Cordia community is so so small. Plus there's a wealth of knowledge between these two sites.
maybe cordiapowerfreaks.com ??? lol
I cbf updating two sites so I stuck to the original.
