Hi guys, Some questions have been raised about the forums showing 'new' posts even though nothing has been posted since your last visit. The issue is that the old phpBB2 install used to show you 'new' posts, whereas phpBB3 shows 'unread' posts. If you don't actually open the post, it will still show up as an unread post when you leave and return to the forum. There's a couple of things you can do - either use the 'View new posts' link at the top right when you come to the forum to view all new posts since your last visit, or you can use the 'Mark forums read' link (again at the top right) before leaving to reset everything to read. |

Yeh I've been using the mark forums read button to get around this. No biggie really as it can show you the posts you didn't read last time you logged in which is quite handy I guess. |
