I can't wait to see what it reads with just a decent exhaust, cooler and piping with 12 or 13psi. Add the manifold and turbo, and it should be mighty impressive!

thatt not 2 vad a figure considereing its still running a td04 on only 9psi, should be pretty happy with that, plus as u said cooler and exhaust upgrades will make a considerable difference, as will big16g n new manifold, should be good to see the power this is making with those mods on 15psi :D

nice work!

you are running very rich, if those AFR readings are correct! grab a fuel computer and do a quick tune, you should gain some more power leaning it out a bit.

Hey Jon,

Merlins' right !! I was wondering what that second line on the dyno graph was...cause its allbroken up etc.......looks like your Air/Fuel ratios are very messed up....can't believe the dyno operator didn't point that out to you ?? Unless they didn't hook up the Wideband 02 Sensor onto the inside of your exhaust tip ?

Your running the standard RVR Computer and sensors right ? See if the dealership has the gear to check fault codes and the like, or check ALL your vac lines cause thats costing you a lot of power, I mean like 25Kws at the wheels easily, no joke......

11.5 - 12.5 is what you want, just depends how much petrol you want to use opposed to how much power you want

With a Fully-programmable ECU, tuners like to lean it out a bit during VAC near 13:1 when your only in cruise mode

So long as the RVR comes with the same cams specs as E3s' then you will get a nice suprise from the b16g

Looks good, will be interesting to see what works and doesnt work mod wise. Going to be very handy for when I do my engine. Will keep my eye open for updates

yeah. running rich as a mofo. i cant be fudged messing round with anything untill i do the manifold, turbo, cooler and exhaust. then i *MIGHT* think about a Wolf. but as usual it comes down to spare cash...and on apprentice wages that doesnt happen to often.

i just hope i can redeem my self with my next run. thanks guys for the comments guys.

Don't worry too much about getting a Wolf, just check your all vac lines one weekend. The air/fuel ratios should be about the 11 mark if not 13 from factory.....remember they had to pass emissions with it (RVR), so I doubt it comes that rich off the Factory floor

if you're using an RVR motor.... what ECU and what AFM are you using? just a thought, but maybe RVR ecu's or afm's or injectors are different to VR4.... either of them could explain running unusually rich.

yes i know it doesnt run rich of the factory floor luis. i am aware of this. you must also be aware that the ECU has been rewired to fit in the cordia, which means something *may* be up with the wiring. you must also understand that i am running dodgy cooler piping with dodgy hosing and a dodgy ass cooler. also a very dodgy exhaust. all of these can have problems which could cause a car to run rich.
i am a 3rd year mechanic that works with Mitsu's all day. i have had 5 cordias. i am not an idiot.

Merlin. i am running the factory RVR ECU. as far as i know the AFM is standard RVR which i am led to believe that it is "EVO" spec. although it resembles a 3.5Ltr magna AFM very closely so u may be onto somehting there. ill look into that, cheers.

Sorry, I just couldn't believe you wouldn't try to fix it. A dyno reading like that would've pissed me straight off to work on the car for 10 hours straight till I got it sorted........especially at the price of petrol !

i work on cars all day. i am currently fixing my brothers car. have megans car to try to get through regency. i have shit loads of other commitments on the weekends.

i do not have the time or the enthusiasm or motivation.....especially when working on cars all day.
sorry if i snapped at you. but i dont need you to point out obvious things. i know what i am doing. i know what needs to be done.
and
i hope u take into account that i am running a turbo smaller than a TC06, on 9 psi. with a very shitty cooler set up and a shitty exhaust. it was my first dyno run with the new engine. dyno's are meant to be for testing and tuning and finding faults. which is what it has done.

Ok, but I wouldn't have been dissapointed with the power output you got taking everything into consideration........

How did your missus get her car defected ??

Early this week down Kilkenny road heading to Arndale, police were pulling everyone they could aside for a general road-worthy inspection.......I think the bookings for Regency must be a little low at the moment
