He contacted me first thing this morning.....picked up this afternoon on the way home from work.........would rather take my time with installation as this can be very fiddly, mainly with the front/rear coolant lines and the exhaust fitment. :)

Plus I still need to purchase lubricants.

I would do a video.....but my sister in-law borrowed the camera and didn't return the bloody charger!

Plus I don't have an Iphone or a digital camera that takes movies. :(

Hey Andrew! looking amazing! Really glad you got the turbo done and fitted, WOW! bet you are one happy man. Remember i'm just round the corner if you would like to document anything on HD cam. You know those vids will stick around! Would love to get a 'resurection first key start up' on cam..... could only imagine the amount of suspense eagerly waiting :) Let me know if you need help with anything Andrew, i'm free for a while.

Thanks Adam.........had a noise when turned over......found to be the cam cover rubbing on the cam gear (you can see in the video)........need to speak to Grant for a replacement as this one is warped!

Have run the engine till hot tonight..........ECU has come back with error code 6 and 1.

I understand the new oxy sensor needs to be hot, but now I'll be looking at wiring as it won't clear............code 6 wasn't there before, but with all the cleaning I'll need to reset the TPS. :)

That thing couldn't wait to fire up. I've never seen a 1.8 not need at least 2 or 3 turns to get going, especially when cold. Your starter motor took the day off. Must have that engine sealed nice and tight. Good work and thanks for posting up the vid.

Got error code 6 to clear tonight.......error code 1 (oxy) is driving me nuts..........I have noticed once held at revs the LED stays on.......when allowed to idle it flashes again until the thermo fan comes one where it again remains "on"............I thought the LED should turn off?

Mind you the engine idles as stable as. :)
