afm is buggerd.....

well unsure if its map sensor or what not his car runs with no afm plugged in and with it plugged in it runs like a pile of shit

cam timing was out by a tiny bit and the spark plugs were wrong, balance shaft was out 180 also

car is now idling lovely just needs something to stop the hesitation

it will go faster now with no aircon to weigh down the front of the car :P lol

sounds weird... did you drop the clutch or something? gearboxes dont just go when your driving along (unless there happens to be no oil i guess)

what acutually happened... could be clutch, one of the drive shafts, or anything in between...

more info needed :)

heaps more info needed,

jack up the car and check the 2 rods coming from the gear box that go half way up the car make sure they are both secure.

is the gear stick sloppy can u pull it up and down and flop it a round (pun intended)

when u push the clutch pedal does it go down really easy like with no pressure applied?

what happens if u put it in 1st clutch in and start the car? if it lurches forward i would say its a clutch issue if the car starts fine then release the clutch if nothing happens then its not selecting so better check the selector rods
also check the gear box oil, buy 2.5 ltrs of 80/90 gear oil shouldn't cost much at all and do a gearbox oil change it couldn't hurt

hehe failing that u know what me and jimi charge lol

JIMI

yes i no its got me stupmed......

i was literally just driving along sitting in 4th gear, put clutch in to change up put in to gear let go of clutch then nuthing like was just in neutral......

i dont think its the clutch because if i got to start in first it dosent bunny hop i can start in ne gear....

cordiaaaturbo
got under today had a look and a play with the 2 rods....... there both in tack and conected from waht i can tell the rod that goes in to the gearbox when its moved u can hear the gears in side the gearbox like slotting in to place and movn....

sloopy gearstick yes can move what i beleive to be to is much....

nar clutch feels fine....and can start the car in any gear and dosent lurch forward....

note to all haha its my 1st manual car haha oops!
