Hi Guys,

I have owned this Cordia since 1998, and have poured a reasonable amount of money into it in the past nine years. Whilst I'm married, my wife knows that the Cordia is my first wife!

I have recently decided to put my car up for sale, and got no response at all! Always thought that my cordia was not too shabby! obviously I was wrong!

Anyway guys, have a look at the following link and tell me what u think?

Hey Debba,

It does around 180kw atw, right now running only 12 psi and slightly rich tune.

Thanks for the compliments. At one stage DBA sold Magna TP brakes in cross drilled form, front & back. But they now have taken that off their catalogue.

Hope ur beast is done soon, wouldn't mind seeing ur car at a cordia cruise!

Looks very clean. nice work. Has it been dynoed? 180kw atw with a TD05 running 12 pounds sounds a bit optimistic to me....

Way too expensive for a Cordia - most people who are into Cordia Turbos don't have that sort of cash to pop all at once.....

X2

I think you've done an excellent job in modding it tastefully as well as maintaining the overall physical aspects of the car. Personally I think its a shame that people keep saying that good examples of cordias are not worth their asking price. 6K is more than reasonable. I'm sure he's more than doubled that figure in reciepts. If I had some spare cash I wouldnt mind this as a project. Goodluck with the sale mate, top work!

Agreed. The factor of the matter is that they are generally worth much more than the asking price but it's a matter of finding a buyer that is willing to fork out such a sum of money on a Cordia when there are many other cars around for a similar price. Unfortunately this is not really a site to attempt to sell anything of any reasonable value....sorry to say that.

X4....

spent a mint on cordias.... and the amount the prices have dropped over the past couple of years... amazing. And you always have idiots offering crap for something you've put alot of time money and effort into.

is why keep it as a project car :D

Everyone looks for a bargain, thats inevitable. But in saying that if we all start devaluing our own cars, the general public will follow suit. Thats why they are worth fu*% all these days. Reason why I don't think I'd ever sell mine. Rather pay double the rego and double the insurance and buy a second car.

Thanks for the compliments boys.

I think I will be keeping the car for a while to go. Will be keeping it just for the odd weekend drives. So Double rego & insurance and all to come for the next few years.

OGE33Z! I lost my mind and went to TopTen the other day and got some new mags for the Cordia! Will put up the pics once they are on!

Blow2L, OGE33Z and D3BB4 look forward to see u guys one day at a gathering! D3BB4 when is ur car going to be ready?

Regards

Jerry
